Here’s an approach and philosophy that I’ve always had with guitar. It’s something that I think you, as a beginner guitarist, will love!
Learning guitar doesn’t have to be a difficult, challenging ordeal. Guitar will obviously still take practice. But if what you’re practicing isn’t fun and satisfying, YOU’RE PRACTICING THE WRONG THING.
Of course everybody learns things differently. But when it comes to guitar, you need to start playing easy songs and riffs ASAP! That is what’s going to establish love and connection between you and the instrument.
But here’s the issue with this philosophy. As a beginner, you’ll have no idea what songs are going to be easy and fun to learn! That’s where I come in.
As you may have guessed, I’ve been at this guitar teaching game for quite a few years now. I’ve had all sorts of different total beginner guitar players approach me for lessons. I’ve seen tons of people’s different “guitar problems.” I’ve seen people struggle with motivation and practice. And let me tell you: This is the start to guitar you need!
When you start having fun playing guitar, and when you establish a love to the instrument, practicing guitar is just as relaxing as “netflixing.” So grab your favourite guit-fiddle, and let’s learn some easy fun tunes!
