In this super easy electric guitar lesson, we learn one of the most epic guitar licks of all time. A guitar lick is a quick piece of musical expression. Bend the note, Release the note, pull-off the note. This is one of the most common guitar licks you will see!

In this lesson, we go over the lick in 3 different easy guitar songs. The First is “Are You Gonna Go My Way” by Lenny Kravitz. The Next is “I want you (She’s So Heavy) by the Beatles. The final song is “Voodoo Child” by Jimi Hendrix.

Every song contains the lick. Once you learn this lick, you’ll save tons of time learning songs. If you are playing Blues, Rock, or even Classic Rock, you are going to see this lick eventually. You might as well get it down now! Make sure you follow this beginner/intermediate guitar lesson in the correct order!

Each song flows into the next as far as difficulty is concerned. Are you Gonna Go My Way is the ultimate song to get down before you nail Voodoo Child. Enjoy the lesson!
