We are going to be taking advantage of open strings to add a drone over our solos! By simply adding an open string, you turn every guitar lick into a chord. The best way to learn anything on the guitar is to start with songs.
We are going to use real song examples from Our Lady Peace, Rage Against the Machine, The Cult, Smashing Pumpkins (and a few others too) I can honestly say this easy guitar technique of applying open strings to riffs and solos is one of the funnest things you can play on an electric guitar.
