Guitar tone. Guitar players throw that word around alot. But what exactly does it mean? This is what I’m going to cover in this lesson. Specifically, I’m going to be covering lead guitar tone in this guitar lesson.

Make sure you watch the whole thing and listen to these tips! If you’ve ever been unsure about what you do with the pick up selector and tone knob on your electric guitar, get ready to be educated.

There are a few easy things that you can do that will give you the ability to really fit into any lead guitar setting. When it comes to lead guitar, tone is about 75% of whether it’s gonna sound good or not. Learn your guitar, amps, and pedals exactly like you learn scales and riffs. Practice them, and you’ll always sound like a boss.
