I don’t know about you, but the imagery of a campfire with a group of people all singing along while one guitarist strums is something that sparks joy in me!
Music has a way of getting people together. As a guitarist, it’s your noble duty to people bring people together! Nothing gets people together like a few classic sing along songs and an acoustic guitar.
Here’s the great thing about being a “campfire guitarist.” It’s a very relaxed level of performance, because you’re the leader, but everyone is participating! It’s not just all eyes on you. Most of the time, you won’t even have to sing, because everyone else will be singing plenty loud!
So get a couple of these super easy acoustic classics down, and get a group of friends or family together and have a “campfire singalong!” And remember, campfire singalongs can occur anywhere!
